Railway Magazines
Magazines offered for sale on this website are in good condition unless otherwise noted. This means, that they have all their pages intact, are not torn and have both covers - unless otherwise specifically noted. Due to their age, some magazines may have dog-eared pages, there might be a crease where there shouldn't be one, there might be a blemish or two, but this will be noted in the write-up as far as possible.
Other Products
Other items offered for sale on this website, may be in a second-hand condition, others may be in a brand-new condition. Either way, this will be noted in the listing for the relevant item. All second-hand items offered for sale are in good merchantable condition. Any defects will be noted in the listing for the item.
Methods of Payment
Cheques and postal orders are only acceptable if drawn in Sterling on a United Kingdom bank account. Overseas payments should be made by way of PayPal. PayPal payments should be made to this email address -- railmags@andibradley.com -- United Kingdom customers can also use PayPal to make payments. Overseas customers - if paying by PayPal you must ask us to quote a shipping cost before placing your order or we will send you a separate PayPal request to cover the cost of shipping when it is known.
All United Kingdom cheques and postal orders should be made payable to - Ms. Suzanne Bradley, and should be sent to 83, Granson Way, Lincoln, LN4 1HF. Cash by way of GBP, $US, $AUS, $CAN or Euro, may be sent at the purchaser's risk. Make sure it is sent registered post. RailMags will not accept any liability for any non-delivery of payments.
The name and address of the sender should be written clearly on the reverse of cheques, in BLOCK CAPITAL LETTERS. As cheques can take anything up to seven days to clear, an allowance of 14-21 days for delivery of magazines should be allowed. All goods will remain the property of RailMags until such time as cleared funds have been received. No goods will be dispatched until any cheque payment is cleared at RailMags' bank.
Any postal correspondance or enquiries should be accompanied by a Stamped, Self Addressed Envelope. (SSAE) No SSAE, no reply.
Postal Charges
All items are weighed prior to listing to give an idea of the cost of delivery, however, it is only an estimate. Postage and packaging is extra and will be charged at the rate ruling on the day of despatch. Please bear in mind that a twelve month set of magazines is very heavy. If you combine a number of magazines items, particularly single magazine items, then postage will be whatever they weigh collectively, not the combined total that is shown on your Checkout. Once you are satisfied with your order and we have received it, we will check the weight at the Post Office and advise accordingly. This takes a little longer to do, but you will then therefore only pay the postage due on your order.
Please note - the postal charges shown on the listings are applicable to the United Kingdom only. All other destinations are subject to current Post Office charges for the destination concerned.
Refunds
A refund is offered on any purchase, if returned within 14 days of purchase and if it is returned in the same condition as it was when dispatched. Postage and packing and delivery costs are NOT refundable. Any returns are made at purchaser's expense. Return postage and delivery costs are NOT refundable.
Please do not return any goods without first emailing RailMags and obtaining a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN). Please ensure that your RAN is quoted on any packing notes enclosed with returned goods, and also on any other correspondence such as emails or letters.
